Out of site out of mind
Presentations followed by roundtable discussion on heritage management and creative practice in making heritage places, in particular in relation to the Art Inside Out- Residency program at Äskhult, with a focus on practice and methods from a cross- and transdisciplinary perspective as well as the temporal frameworks surrounding these practices, asking questions such as:
– What is the relation between heritage and art and how are we to understand the shared attraction as its played out in various heritage contexts?
– What are the role of artistic practice at heritage sites and how can artistic methods contribute to and enrich such contexts? And conversely, how can various “heritage” practices inform and enrich artistic practice?
– How are we to understand, deal with and relate the different temporalities at play within and in extension of art and heritage when in interaction?
